An international perspective on Jersey's aid budget

At the 2005 G8 Summit fifteen members of the EU set themselves the goal of spending 0.56% of GDP on world development aid by 2010, and reaching the UN target of a minimum of 0.7% of Gross National Income ("GNI") by 2015

Dear Sir/Madam

Referring to the above statement, I would like to register my support also for the island to reach the same target as the EU. We are able to do this and see that it is for this reason amongst others that our politicians represent us.

Please take this e-mail as registering my support for the states to adopt this goal. Kind Regards

Peter
