Do you think that the Police should charge you again for their services at events such as Jerseylive? NO

If you are a tax payer in Jersey and you wish to attend events such as Jerseylive, do you feel you should have to pay extra for Police to be deployed at events ? NO

or are you happy that you already cover the cost of policing at events by paying your

taxes in the 1st place? yes (one question, two answers, )

myself as an avid fan of anything good that happens in Jersey, always seems to be marred by political interfering people who do not seem to understand the concept of what people are trying to achieve.

with Jerseylive, an event of such a large size, i found that it is very well organised without the offending people sticking their nose in, this event is not only for the people of Jersey but also for the promoting of Jersey as a whole, therefore with extra costs occuring it is demoralising , not only to the promoters and artists that appear, but to the people that pay to go to see it.

I believe that the States did at one time try to arrange a party in the Park scheme, where the event was free, as a family event, but how many police were there? also how many police were imported for the battle funfair s which frequent our island, and how many visitors does that attract and trouble?

leave these guys alone, let them get on with it, instead of asking the Brit force to look after something which is in hand already, bring them over to look after St Brelade.

as it seems our police cant do that right!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
