Comments: Regarding Fort Regent:-The pool, aquarium, bumper cars, racing cars (right at the end remember?), the snake, the arcade, the aviary,the funfair, the giant chess board, the titania's palace, the henry V exhibition, crazy golf,cable cars, evening cabarets and of course go-skating. These should all come back. The side grassy area that slopes down could be turned into either a ski slope or a half- pipe concrete bobsleigh, brilliant fun. THIS WOULD NOT ONLY BE GOOD FOR THE LOCAL YOUTH BUT GIVE THE BORED TOURISTS SOMEWHERE TO GO. I am now 44 and would love to take my child to a place I was lucky enough to visit in the 80's. As far as paying for it the States seem to be able to pay for really stupid repairs and unnecessary buildings so there is no excuse about funds. Thanks for reading this.
