Hi my son has been suspended from Grainville school several times and I wanted to tell you a bit about what happens:
He has beenusually been suspendedbecause he has refused to leave a classroom or go to supervision (this is where they are sent to sit at the back of another classroom with work to do). My son is dyslexic so therefore supervision is a complete waste of time as he needs support to do his written work.
So I normally get a phone call from school saying that he is being sent home and this can be from between 1 to 3 days. He stays at home does his own thing then goes back to school. In the meantime he has missed out on whatever school work they are doing as he is given nothing to do at home. This suits him fine as he does not like school.
Hope this is of help if you need any more info please email me. SJ
