Dear Sirs
I'm not sure if this process is a complete waste of time as they have already laid the new car parking area and starting clearing the trees and bushes from the site this weekend, so it seems quite obvious that they intend carrying on with building the first block. Anyway for what it's worth, my worry is that with the proposal that the blocks will only be built when the tenants have confirm leases, this site may never be completed and will remain a building site for years to come and yet another eyesore in St. Helier , has there ever been a time scale for completion? Also why are the States getting involved with building on this site in the first place, when there are several Property Developers wanting to develop other sites along the existing Esplanade front and Commercial St. This surely would be less disruptive to the public and less risk Financially for the States.
So I wish you luck with getting this ridiculous building projected stopped and the trees and bushes put back where they belong.
Regards Andy Barnes
