I would just like to add my voice to the opposition to the nursery cuts. I feel that they will result in the very real possibility of children of hard working parents missing out on the opportunity to go to nursery. £75,000 is not a high threshold for a place like jersey and a lot of the people hit will be people who are working hard for their families.
I am especially disappointed to hear Rod using the 1001 critical days to try and justify the cuts and feel he should be reminded that the 1001 critical days (and beyond) are critical for ALL children and that it would be better if the manifesto was linked to a more positive announcement!
