31  January 2017  Dear Deputy Renouf

Health and Social Security Scrutiny Panel -S ingle Parent Component of Income  Support

I am writing in response to your letter dated 20 January, 2017, in which you are seeking  information regarding the impact of benefit cuts on single parents' families in the Island.

I can advise you that since the end of 2015, the Jersey Child Care Trust has not noticed any  increase in the number of single parent families coming forward to access our services and  for us to provide additional support.

If you require any further information, please feel free to contact me.  Yours sincerely
