Further to FB post advising points for Scrutiny to consider, here are mine:
- A year ago the "Cost" was detailed as £800Mill, which was £500M building etc, £50Mill new equipment, = £550 Mill,To which was added £250,000,000 "contingency expenses", which no-one queried..., although way, way bigger than normal 10% contingency.
- The latest cost has now managed to hide most of the £250Mill "slush fund..."
- The Hospital lot cannot even state how many new beds Jsy gets for £800Mill. (I have heard just 60) Madness.
- I have heard of several other new hospitals, being built on flat sites (as Overdale will be) larger etc, and costing Half of £800Mill. Has anyone seriously looked at the cost v Other New Hospitals??(Former Assistant Chief Minister Chris Taylor talked to one in France, who said they could build very substantially cheaper. Anyone talked to CT??)

Drive up the Bowling Club hill (Westmount Hill).

- Facts. How many times / week does an ambulance come into the hospital with life threatening cases on board??

Which means Westmount road is fine as is.
