Re: Review of the Draft Children and Civil Status (Amendments) (Jersey) Law Hi Joseph

Thank you for email and request from the Chair of the Scrutiny Panel.

The JYS workforce have been made aware of the law, and its potential approval date, to which they are all completing the statutory guidance e-learning modules (Introduction, Working Together, Information Sharing and Corporate Parenting) are available on Connect (the preferred internal GoJ platform) and Virtual College.

In relation to the law and the training; it is really refreshing to see the Working Together, Information Sharing, Early Intervention and Wellbeing guidance/approaches. The Jersey Youth Service would fully endorse the law amendments.

Yours Sincerely

Bradley Cooper

Principal Youth Officer / Head of Service
