Terms of reference
Terms of Reference
1. To review the current position in regard to strategic and other policy proposals in respect of the Plan.
2. To scrutinize alternative waste strategies and technologies.
3. To assess the cost and resource implications of a range of strategies within the waste hierarchy.
4. To understand the strategic and policy decision making process under which the States, Departments and Committees have operated in formulating the Plan.
5. To report on the outcome of the Public consultation exercise.
6. To make recommendations to the appropriate Committees and/or the States.
