The Draft States of Jersey Police Force (Amendment No.2) Law 201- asks the States Assembly to agree three changes to the way in which the States of Jersey Police Force (SoJP) operates. These three changes are as follows;
- Introduction of Independent Custody Visitors,
- Introduction of Charging for SoJP goods and services,
- Allowing States employees and contractors to undertake police functions
The Education and Home Affairs Scrutiny Panel has published comments relating to the legislation.
