Draft Register of Names and Addresses (Amendment) (Jersey) Law 202
Deputy Elaine Millar, as Rapporteur for the Chief Minister, Deputy Kristina Moore, proposed to amend the Register of Names and Addresses Law 2012 to permit the Minister to supply certain information about Jersey residents to credit reference agencies.
The States Assembly voted to APPROVE the Chief Minister's proposition, with 44 votes for, 0 votes against and 0 abstentions.

Draft Employment (Amendment No.14) (Jersey) Law 202
The Minister for Social Security, Deputy Elaine Millar, proposed change to primary legislation (Employment (Jersey) Law 2003) to provide for statutory leave entitlement in the event of parents who experience the death of a child.
The States Assembly voted to APPROVE the Minister for Social Security's proposition, with 45 votes for, 0 votes against and 0 abstentions.

Extension of Cold Weather Bonus
Deputy Beatriz Porée proposed to extend the Cold Weather Bonus to those who are in receipt of 100% Long-Term Incapacity Allowance, and that this should be implemented by January 2024.
The proposition was debated as amended by Deputy Porée's own amendment, calling for it to be extended to those below pensionable age, a Jersey resident for 5 years and qualify under certain criteria in the Schedule to the Social Security (Bonus) (Jersey) Law 2014.
The States Assembly voted to APPROVE Deputy Porée's proposition, with 42 votes for, 0 votes against and 0 abstentions.

Law Revision Board: Appointment of Members
The Chief Minister proposed to appoint Deputy P.M. Bailhache of St. Clement and Connétable R.D. Johnson of St. Mary as members of the Law Revision Board.
The States Assembly voted to APPROVE the Chief Minister's proposition in a standing vote.

Funding for the Jersey Reds
Deputy Lyndon Farnham proposed that the Minister for Treasury & Resources, Deputy Ian Gorst, should take steps to ensure that the Jersey Reds are provided additional States funding to allow them to complete the 2023-2024 rugby season.
The proposition was debated as amended by two amendments. The first amendment, brought by Deputy Lyndsay Feltham, was for funding to be made available subject to the provision of a business case quantifying the benefits of the Club to the Island & demonstrating that the organisation will stay operational for the 23-24 season. The second amendment, brought forward by Deputy Moz Scott, was to make funding subject to the inclusion of a senior representative from the Treasury & Exchequer Department and an independent representative from the business community, on the Board of Jersey Reds in an advisory capacity.
