2 REPORT

Decision(s): Under Standing Order 168(3) the Minister for Treasury and Resources hereby notifies the States that he has accepted the recommendation of the Property Holdings Department to agree to the following –

  1. Land transaction –

The Public to lease out Maison St. Louis Observatory Flat, Highlands Lane, St. Saviour .

The lease shall be for a period of one year with effect from 1st November 2009 at a rental of £550 per month, subject to review in accordance with the Jersey Retail Price Index.

The Minister hereby authorises the Director of Property Holdings to pass any contract which is required to be passed on behalf of the Public.

After the expiry of 15 days following presentation to the States the transaction may be concluded.

  1. Land transaction –

The Public of the Island to lease in the Stores HA and HB 19 Oxford Road, St. Helier .

The lease shall be for a fixed period of 5 years, with effect from 1st October 2009 at a rental of £7,929 per annum subject to review in line with the market rental value on the 1st day of October 2012

The Minister hereby authorises the Director of Property Holdings to pass any contract which is required to be passed on behalf of the Public.

After the expiry of 15 days following presentation to the States the transaction may be concluded.

  1. Land transaction –

Under the Assisted House Purchase  Scheme, the sale by the Public of 4 Highfield Vineries, Le Mont Sohier, St. Saviour . It being understood that the outstanding Assisted  House  Purchase  loan balance  at  the  time  of  passing contract shall be secured against 4 Highfield Vineries by way of a Simple Conventional Hypothec as approved by the Housing Minister.

The Minister hereby authorises the Attorney General and the Greffier of the States to pass any contract which is required to be passed on behalf of the Public.
