REPORT

Decision(s): Under Standing Order 168(3) the Minister for Treasury and Resources hereby notifies the States that he has accepted the recommendation of the Property Holdings Department to agree to the following –

  1. Land transaction –

The sale to Mr. Lyndon Thomas Renault of approximately 450 square feet of Public land adjoining the east gable of his property 162 Clos des Sables for £35,000, with each party to pay its own fees in connection with passing contract.

The Minister hereby authorises the Attorney General and the Greffier of the States to pass any contract which is required to be passed on behalf of the Public.

After the expiry of 15 days following presentation to the States the transaction may be concluded.

  1. Land transaction –

The  cession  from  Bonne  Nuit  Limited  to  the  Public  of  approximately 1,400 square feet of land from the Cheval Roc site in order to widen part of the roadway leading to La Crête Fort, with the maintenance responsibility for the additional area of roadway to remain with the owner(s) of Cheval Roc, and with each party to meet its own fees in connection with the contract.

The Minister hereby authorises the Attorney General and the Greffier of the States to pass any contract which is required to be passed on behalf of the Public.

After the expiry of 15 days following presentation to the States the transaction may be concluded.

N35 – lease to Jersey Sailing for a term of 3 years (subject to 6 month break clause should the property be required for future harbour development) with effect from 1st April 2010.

E10 – lease to Jersey Civil Service Association Branch of Prospect for a term of one year and one month with effect from 1st March 2010.

The Minister hereby authorises the Director of Property Holdings to pass any contract which is required to be passed on behalf of the Public.

After the expiry of 15 days following presentation to the States the transaction may be concluded.
