REPORT

Decision(s): Under Standing Order 168(3) the Minister for Treasury and Resources hereby notifies the States that he has accepted the recommendation of the Property Holdings Department to agree to the following –

  1. Land transaction –
  1. To approve the sale, cession and transfer of 5 Beaufort Square, Plat Douet  Road,   St. Clement  in consideration  of  the  payment  of  the outstanding  Assisted  House  Purchase  loan  balance  at  the  time  of passing contract.
  2. To confirm  the above  decision after  giving  the  States  15 working days' notice of the transaction, and to cause the transaction to be completed.

The Minister hereby authorises the Attorney General and the Greffier of the States to pass any contract which is required to be passed on behalf of the Public.

After the expiry of 15 days following presentation to the States the transaction may be concluded.

  1. To accept  the  recommendation  of  the  Minister  for  Economic Development  and  approve  the  leasing-out  of  St. Catherine  Sailing Club (Club House) SC06 for a term of 5 years with effect from 1st January 2009.
  2. To accept  the  recommendation  of  the  Minister  for  Economic Development  and  approve  the  leasing-out  of  La Collette  (Unit 4 Marine  Leisure  Business  Park)  LC28  for  a  term  of  7 years  and 7 months with effect from 1st June 2011.
  3. To rescind MD-PH-2010-0053 as a former proposed agreement was never completed.
  4. To confirm the above decisions after giving the States 15 working days' notice of the transactions, and to cause the transactions to be completed.

The Minister hereby authorises the Director of Property Holdings to pass any contract which is required to be passed on behalf of the Public.
