LE BELON, 2 LE CLOS VALLOIS, LE PASSAGE, ST. LAWRENCE – ASSISTED HOUSE PURCHASE SCHEME – SALE;

LAND UPON WHICH THE GEOFF REED TABLE TENNIS CENTRE HAS BEEN CONSTRUCTED, F.B. FIELDS, ST. CLEMENT – GROUND LEASE.

REPORT

Decision(s):  Under  Standing  Order  168(3)  the  Minister  for  Infrastructure  hereby notifies the States that he has accepted the recommendation of the Property Holdings Department to agree to the following –

  1. Land transaction –

To  dispose  of  the  Summerland  site  to  Andium  Homes  for  residential development, subject to the terms of a Development Agreement.

The Minister hereby authorises, as applicable, the Attorney General and the Greffier of the States to pass any contract which is required to be passed on behalf of the Public; and the Director of Property Holdings to conclude any contract which is required to be concluded on behalf of the Public.

After the expiry of 15 days following presentation to the States the transaction may be concluded.

  1. Land transaction –

To approve the sale, cession and transfer of Mount View, Bellozanne Road, St. Helier . The consideration will be the amount of the outstanding balance of the existing States loan at the date the contract is passed before the Royal Court.

The Minister hereby authorises, as applicable, the Attorney General and the Greffier of the States to pass any contract which is required to be passed on behalf of the Public; and the Director of Property Holdings to conclude any contract which is required to be concluded on behalf of the Public.

After the expiry of 15 days following presentation to the States the transaction may be concluded.

The granting of a new lease by the Public of the Island to the Jersey Table Tennis Association for an area of land upon which the Geoff Reed Table Tennis Centre was constructed at F.B. Fields, St. Clement .

This approval hereby rescinds the Sport, Leisure and Recreation Committee Decision dated 28th January 1999 and the Finance and Economics Committee Decision dated 19th April 1999.

The Minister hereby authorises, as applicable, the Attorney General and the Greffier of the States to pass any contract which is required to be passed on behalf of the Public; and the Director of Property Holdings to conclude any contract which is required to be concluded on behalf of the Public.

After the expiry of 15 days following presentation to the States the transaction may be concluded.
