Minutes A1. The Minutes of the meetings of 8th December 2015 (Part A and Part B) and
14th December 2015 (Part B only), having previously been circulated, were taken as read and were confirmed.
Web-streaming A2. The Committee, with reference to its Minute No. A3 of 8th December 2015, of minutes of received an oral update from the Assistant Greffier of the States in connexion with the States. the web-streaming of meetings of the States.

The Committee recalled that the closing date for the open tender for filming the States Assembly had been 7th December 2015 and that 3 potential suppliers had formally submitted tenders. The tenders had been reviewed and scored by members of the officer group, which comprised officers from the States Greffe, the Electronics Department, Information Services and Procurement. As a result of this review, a preferred supplier had been identified, although the potential suppliers had not yet been notified of the outcome of the tender process.
The Committee was advised that there would be a slight delay in the finalisation of the evaluation report, prepared by the officer group, because, mindful of the rapidly moving technological advances, the decision had been taken to lease rather than purchase the relevant equipment and this required Treasury approval. It was anticipated that the evaluation report would be circulated to the Committee within a few weeks.

The Committee was advised that if it was in agreement with the choice of preferred supplier, a final decision could be ratified by way of a meeting via electronic mail. If the Committee had any queries or issues in respect of the choice, a formal meeting would be arranged.
It was anticipated that the installation of the equipment would take 5 days, so it would be possible for this work to be undertaken in between States sittings. Once installed, a soft launch of the equipment would take place to ensure that it was working correctly, before publicising a link on the States Assembly website to enable people to view the States in session.
The Committee noted the position accordingly.
Composition A3. The Committee, with reference to its Minute No. A6 of 8th December 2015, and election of received an oral update from the Deputy Greffier of the States on the activities of the States the Sub-Committee on the Composition and Election of the States Assembly. Assembly.
465/1(201) The Committee was advised that the officer group had prepared reform proposals
for consideration by the Sub-Committee on 15th January 2016. The report, which set out 3 options for change and a change nothing' option, was due to be circulated imminently. The proposed options aligned with the outcomes from the workshops attended by States members and centred particularly on the issue of voter equity.
If the Sub-Committee was happy with the proposals, it was anticipated that the next presentation meeting with States Members would take place during the lunchtime recess on 2nd February 2016 and they would be asked to indicate their views on the proposals.
The Committee noted the position accordingly.
Register of A4. The Committee, with reference to its Minute No. A5 of 10th November 2015, Names and received an oral update from the Assistant Greffier of the States on the subject of Addresses electronic voter registration. It was advised that a meeting was scheduled to take (Comparison place later in the month with the Information Services Department, who were with Electoral progressing the project as part of the larger tell us once' initiative.

(Jersey) The Committee noted that data sharing agreements had been signed and a trial to Regulations compare the "registrable facts" recorded under the Register of Names and Addresses 201-. (Jersey) Law 2012 with the information recorded in electoral registers was ongoing 756/99(4) in relation to three areas: St. Brelade district No.1; St. Saviour district No. 1 and St.
Helier district No.1.
It was anticipated that electronic voter registration could be in place for use in the general election in 2018.
