The Committee, with reference to its Minute No. A1 of 14th November 2016 for Standards gave further consideration to the draft Commissioner for Standards (Jersey) Law (Jersey) Law 201- (P.87/2016) (the draft Law') which, it recalled, had originally been due to be 201- considered by the States on 15th November 2016. On 14th November 2016, the (P.87/2016): Committee had agreed to move P.87/2016 to 29th November 2016 at the request of Agreement to the Chief Minister, who had lodged an amendment to the draft Law.

Committee, it agreed to further defer the matter to the first meeting date of 2017 to give the Chief Minister time to meet with the Committee members.
Accordingly, the Committee instructed the Greffier to move P.87/2016 to 17th January 2017 and to notify the Chief Minister of the change of debate date.
