May 2017 (Part A only) and 19th June 2017 (Part A and Part B) having previously been circulated, were taken as read and were confirmed.
Forthcoming A2. The Committee received a list of forthcoming business for debate by the States business for Assembly at its next 2 meetings, to be held on 18th July 2017 and 12th September debate by the 2017.
States
Assembly. In relation to the Proposition by Deputy M. Tadier of St. Brelade , entitled: Bailiff 465/1(210) of Jersey: cessation of dual role and the appointment of an elected Speaker of the
States' (P.62/2017), the Committee decided that it would assist States Members if it were to update and recirculate the comments, which it had presented in respect of P.54/2016, which was a similarly worded Proposition lodged by the Deputy in 2016. It requested officers to take the necessary action.
