Minutes A1. The Minutes of the meeting held on 25th April 2017 (Part A and Part B),
having previously been circulated, were taken as read and were confirmed.
Forthcoming A2. The Committee received a list of forthcoming business for debate by the business for States Assembly at its next 3 meetings and considered whether it wished to make a debate by the formal comment on any of the Propositions that had been lodged au Greffe'. States
Assembly. The Committee recalled that it had expressed the wish to present a comment on the 465/1(210) Proposition of Senator S.C. Ferguson, Chief Minister: Term Limit' (P.24/2017) and
noted that a draft comment was the subject of item B5 of the current meeting.
It further recalled that it would be presenting a comment on the Proposition of Deputy G.P. Southern of St. Helier 's Proposition, Standing Orders: answers to questions' (P. 25/2017), which was the subject of item B6 of the current meeting.
Establishment A3. The Committee, with reference to its Minute No. B5 of 25th April 2017, of a Sub – recalled that it had decided to present a comment in respect of the Proposition of Committee to Deputy S.M. Wickenden of St. Helier , entitled – E-Petitions' (P.14/2017), which formulate indicated that it was broadly supportive of the initiative.

respect of The Deputy Greffier advised the Committee that it had been suggested that a e-petitions. Sub-Committee should be established to give consideration to this matter and that 465/4(25) Deputy J.M. Maçon of St. Saviour and Deputy S.M. Wickenden of St. Helier had
volunteered to be members thereof. The Committee indicated that the Sub- Committee should be chaired by one of the Committee members and suggested that Deputy M.J. Norton of St. Brelade should be asked to fulfil this role.
The Committee instructed the Deputy Greffier to seek Deputy Norton's agreement accordingly.

States meeting A4. The Committee, with reference to its Minute No. A2 of 7th March 2017, dates for 2018. recalled that it had previously agreed the States meeting dates for the first session of 1240/2(86) 2018, but had been unable, at that juncture, to agree the dates for the second session
as the term dates for the 2018 – 2019 school year had not been published.
The Committee noted that those dates had now been released and received the proposed meeting dates for the States for the whole of 2018 from the Deputy Greffier. It noted that the half-term week of 28th October to 2nd November 2018 had been avoided and that the first meeting of the States in 2019 would commence on 15th January 2019.
The meeting dates were accordingly approved as follows:
