Comptroller and Auditor General Board of Governance: Appointment of Member P.50/2024
THE STATES, adopting a proposition of the Chief Minister entitled Comptroller and Auditor General Board of Governance: Appointment of Member' (P.50/2024), approved, in accordance with Article 2(2) of the Comptroller and Auditor General (Board of Governance) (Jersey) Order 2015, the recommendation of the Chief Minister and the Chair of the Public Accounts Committee to re-appoint, from the end of his current term of office on 25th March 2025, Mr Robert Tinlin MBE, as an independent member of the Board of Governance of the Office of the Comptroller and Auditor General, for a term of five years.
Jersey Police Complaints Authority – Appointment of Chair and Member P.52/2024
THE STATES, adopting a proposition of the Minister for Justice and Home Affairs entitled Jersey Police Complaints Authority – Appointment of Chair and Member' (P.50/2024), agreed, in accordance with Article 2 of, and the Schedule to, the Police (Complaints and Discipline) (Jersey) Law 1999, to appoint Mr. Chris Stephenson as Chair of the Jersey Police Complaints Authority, and Mr. Simon Burgess as a member of the Authority, each for a period of 3 years commencing immediately.

THE STATES, having previously noted on 10th September 2024 that the e-petition Make States Old Age Pensions exempt from Tax' had attracted more than 5,000 signatures, and adopting a proposition of the Chair of the Privileges and Procedures Committee, resolved to sit in-Committee on 12th November 2024, in order to discuss the e-petition.
