Road Traffic (Parking Places – Charges) (Amendment No. 4) (Jersey) Order 2020.
This Order amends the Road Traffic (Public Parking Places – Charges) (Jersey) Order 2017 to increase the charges for parking in public parking places by an average of 2.4%. Excess charges are not affected. This Order also lowers the carbon dioxide emission level required to attract lower parking charges in respect of any vehicle to no more than 50 grams of carbon dioxide per kilometre.
This Order also deletes a reference to Commission Directive No. 93/116/EC which is no longer in force. The Order was made on 21st February 2020 and comes into force on 1st March 2020.
