Development, Tourism, Sport and Culture –

"Will the Minister advise what plans are in place to ensure that the ports that serve Jersey will continue to operate to allow the maintenance of supplies to the Island during the current Coronavirus situation?"

"Will the Minister authorise a significant increase in the rate of testing for Coronavirus in the Island along the lines of World Health Organisation recommendations, in order to limit the spread of the virus; and if not, why not?"

Sea Fisheries (Bag Limits) (Jersey) Order 2020.

This Order makes provision for the daily limit of fish that may be taken by any person, vessel or fishing boat (other than in relation to the taking of bass or tope by any person on a British fishing boat or French fishing boat in any part of the territorial sea in which the boat is authorised to fish).

The daily limit of fish that may be taken by a vessel or fishing boat is subject to the daily limit of fish that may be taken by any person on the vessel or fishing boat.

The Order was made on 19th March 2020 and comes into force on 26th March 2020.

"How much had been raised as of 29th February 2020 for the Climate Emergency Fund through the extra 4 pence per litre levied on fuel duty; and where have those funds been spent?"

"Given that the United Kingdom Government has proposed to limit participation by Huawei in the 5G network to 35%, will the Minister (as shareholder representative) state how it is anticipated this proposal will affect JT and the policy to be adopted in respect of the telecommunications industry in the Island?"
