Road Traffic ( St. Saviour ) (Amendment No. 15) (Jersey) Order 2023. Minister for Infrastructure.
This Order amends the Road Traffic ( St. Saviour ) (Jersey) Order 2000 (the "2000 Order"). Article 1 provides that the Order amends the 2000 Order.
Article 2 inserts a new Article 8A into the 2000 Order which specifies (in a new Schedule 7) roads at which only motor cycles or mopeds can park. Article 8A provides that they must not return to park within 24 hours and provides that they must not park for a total continuous period of more than 7 days.
Article 3 amends Schedule 3 to add several new "no-waiting" sections of roads.
Article 4 inserts a new Schedule 7 for roads that are specified under Article 8A as reserved for parking by motor cycles or mopeds.
Article 5 introduces Schedule 1 containing consequential amendments to the 2000 Order. Article 6 introduces Schedule 2 containing minor updating amendments to the 2000 Order. Article 7 gives the citation and provides that the Order comes into force 7 days after it is made. The Order was made on 21st April 2023 and came into force on 28th April 2023.
