1st September 2017 Dear Alan

Corporate Services Scrutiny Panel – Quarterly Hearing Information Requests

I wrote to you on 7th July 2017 to follow up on the commitments you gave during a quarterly public hearing with this Panel on Monday 3rd July to provide us with a number of pieces of information.

The information we requested was straightforward and, in most cases, we would have expected you to have been able to provide the answers during the public hearing. However, you committed to provide the information after the hearing and we provided a reasonable timeframe of two weeks for you to do so.

We asked for you to respond by 21st July and we are disappointed that as yet (six weeks after the deadline), we have still not received your response.

I have enclosed our original letter together with the list of information requested. We would be grateful if the information could be provided without further delay.

Whilst writing, I note that the deadline for providing the Ministerial Response to the Panel's report on the Jersey International Finance Centre was 25th August 2017. The response to this report is now overdue and we would expect you to either provide the report immediately, or advise us that you will require additional time (as provided in the Code of Practice for Scrutiny Panels) and publish an interim report in the meantime.

I look forward to your immediate reply on both of the above matters. Yours sincerely

Deputy J.A.N. Le Fondré
