ADMINISTRATIVE MATTERS
- Opening Remarks
Welcome from the Chair and an opportunity for Members to bring any matters of interest to the attention of the Panel.
- Records of Meetings
To note and approve the record of the meetings held on 29th October and 4th , 7th and 11th November 2024.
SCRUTINY MATTERS
- Review of the Proposed Budget 2025-2028
- To note the lodging of any amendments and / or comments relating to the proposed Budget 2025-2028; and
- To discuss any further actions.
- Review of Secondary Education
- To discuss any comments received through the fact-checking process of the draft Scrutiny Report prepared as part of the Panel’s review of Secondary Education Funding (the Report); and
- To review and, if thought fit, approve the final Report for publication
- Quarterly Hearing with the Minister for Education and Lifelong Learning
To note that the Panel will hold a quarterly public hearing with the Minister for Education and Lifelong Learning on 6th December 2024 and to approve the question plan.

To note the Panel’s current work programme.
- States Business
To review any recent Ministerial Decisions and Reports, consider any items of business for forthcoming States meetings which fall in the Panel’s remit and consider any questions that the Panel may want to ask.
