Agricultural Building Survey

The agricultural buildings survey was undertaken in 2008 as part of the Island Plan Review process. The information was gathered by visits to the each building involving discussions with the owner or tenant.

The position of each building was noted and a unique postal reference (UPRN) was assigned to aid future reference. The buildings were measured, its area calculated and its current usage noted.

Staff accommodation was also surveyed with the number staff accommodated. Where a group of purpose built accommodation was found it was recorded as one item as was hotels that had been converted to accommodate agricultural staff.
