Dear Deputy Dorey

Regarding our telephone conversation about my son xxxx I also write on behalf of xxxx dad.

We feel that the drug & alcohol clinic have let us down as a family more so my son xxxx, he has been on Detox so many times and even though myself & xxxx dad have been to the clinic they do not want to discuss xxxx when we are there, xxxx has been a drug user for at least 10 yrs and he is still a user, but is trying to Detox again, I have even detoxed xxxx at home which wasn't very nice, I've had to break up fights between my other two sons and xxxx also attacked his own father when he was out of control of drugs as a family we have trying to help xxxx, even when we were under police protection, xxxx had to have a bleep, and we had a special phone to ring the police. Even when xxxx broke into my house and robbed from his 2 brothers & myself and smashed the house and did over a £1,000.00 in damages. The police were called & xxxx went to prison;

The point I'm trying to make is when xxxx was released from prison I couldn't have xxxx at home because my other sons live with me & they said if xxxx came home they would leave. Now where would xxxx go from prison, first he can't get a job because he has no address so it goes on. No Home No Job.

Plus I wanted xxxx to have treatment for his teeth but that was no by the drug clinic, they gave xxxx Methadone which had sugar, and this has rotted his teeth, the new Methadone contains no sugar, I spent £1,000 on his teeth but I couldn't kept it up. Dr xxxx could easy refer him to the hospital dentist.

Thank God for the Shelter at least I know xxxx is safe, instead of sleeping rough and in the drug circle.

Xxxx has lost a lot of friends in the drug world, by hanging themselves and overdoses. I'm glad my son ended up in Prison because at that time xxxx lost 5 friends at Christmas time I

feel sure xxxx would have been the 6th.

My son has become depressed and his more often then not anti-social he doesn't smile anymore and this is not helping my son, I do hope you can made a difference to these young people because they do need more help than their getting.

I hope you can enable to get xxxx into the hospital Dentist I'm sure it will make a difference to him in confidence & lift his depression & once xxxx gets off the Methadone & Valium he will be able to find a job.

Yours faithfully Xxxxxxxxxx
