Subject: RE: mini theme park aka Childrens playground

Dear Sir ,

I have been advised to contact you with regard to my concerns over the apparent construction of a children's adventure area at Mont Orgueil Castle as I have been given to understand that you are collating information in respect of the current planning procedures .

It would appear that the onus is with the JHT to conform to the conditions of the permit despite the fact that that organisation is clearly in breech of the conditions. See the second paragraph of Kevin Pilley's latest response .

I find this a remarkable shift of responsibility from the Planning Authority to the JHT with officers of the Planning Authority apparently turning a blind eye to the fact that the playground equipment is now in place and therefore in breech of their own conditions .

I have sent a copy of this correspondence to the Health and Safety Executive such is my concern over the apparent lack of regulation which is necessary to provide the Planning Authority with the power to reject an application on the grounds of non compliance with Health and Safety regulations .

Yours Sincerely, Michael W Green
