I would like to add my voice to those who disagree with extra charging for policing at big events like jersey live , battle of flowers.
Jersey live was a very successful event but there were far too many police there – absolutely no need to import police and put them up at the grand or wherever it was they stayed. Our taxes should cover that as they always have in the past. Our jersey police are mostly excellent and able to cope with any event. Carol campbell
