I don't think Jersey Live or the public should be charged for policing events such as Jersey Live. There was no need to bring police over from the UK to police the event in the first place there were far to many at the event and it was just a waste of our money, personally there was no trouble at all down there. The police didn't do much as there wasn't much for them to do and there was already a good amount of security guards working at the organisers expense.

I pay enough tax already to pay for these events I attend so personally I don't think we should be charged at all, I don't go to events such as battle of flowers as it is the same each year and I am always working. Otherwise where is all my tax money going to that I pay? It should be used for events like these as it also brings more tourism over and we will lose this.

Thanks
