and Social Services –

"Following the report that the Council of Ministers will investigate end-of-life choices in Jersey, will the Minister provide a timeline of the research and work to be undertaken, including the public consultation which has been announced?"

OQ.46/2019  2.   Deputy K.F. Morel of St. Lawrence will ask the following question of the Minister for

Economic Development, Tourism, Sport and Culture –

"With house prices rising 7% in 2018, private sector rents increasing by 9% and with R.P.I. effectively at 4%, but all-sector average earnings increasing by just above 3%, what economic forces does the Minister consider are driving such high rates of price increases; and does he consider that Jersey's economy is in danger of overheating?"

Road Traffic (Public Parking Places – Charges) (Amendment No. 3) (Jersey) Order 2019.

This Order amends the Road Traffic (Public Parking Places – Charges) (Jersey) Order 2017 to increase the charges for parking in public parking places in line with the retail prices index September 2017 figure, being 3.7%.

The Order was made on 22nd February 2019 and comes into force on 1st March 2019.

Road Traffic (Speed Limits) (Amendment No. 11) (Jersey) Order 2019.

This Order amends the Schedules to the Road Traffic (Speed Limits) (Jersey) Order 2003 ("2003 Order") for the purpose of changing the speed limits which apply to various roads in the parishes of Grouville and St. Helier .

Article 1 is an interpretation provision.

By Article 2, Schedule 1 to the 2003 Order is amended to replace the list of roads in the parish of Grouville that are subject to a 30 mph speed limit.

By Article 3, Schedule 2 to the 2003 Order is amended to replace the lists of roads in the parishes of Grouville and St. Helier that are subject to a 20 mph speed limit.

By Article 4, Schedule 3 to the 2003 Order is amended to replace the list of roads in the parish of Grouville that are subject to a 15 mph speed limit.

Article 5 gives the title of this Order and provides for it to come into force 7 days after the day on which it is made.

The Order was made on 22nd February 2019 and comes into force on 1st March 2019.
