Road Works (Permit Fees) (Jersey) Amendment Order 2024. Minister for Infrastructure.

This Order amends the Road Works (Permit Fees) (Jersey) Order 2019. The amendments increase by about 7.5% the fees for applying –

for a permit for certain road works; or

to vary such a permit.

This Order comes into force on 1st May 2024. The fees were last increased on 1st January 2023. The Order was made on 18th April 2024 and comes into force on 1st May 2024.

Immigration (Fees) (Jersey) Amendment Order 2024. Minister for Justice and Home Affairs.

This Order amends the Immigration (Fees) (Jersey) Order 2022. This Order increases the standard and express fees payable for passport applications by between 7.4% and 7.8%. Temporary emergency passport fees remain unchanged. The fees were last increased with effect from 1st June 2023.

The Order was made on 23rd April 2024 and comes into force on 1st June 2024.

Road Traffic (Public Parking Places – Charles Street and Charges) (Jersey) Amendment Order 2024. Minister for Infrastructure.

This Order amends the Road Traffic (Public Parking Places) (Jersey) Order 2006.

Article 2 increases the prescribed charges for parking units in respect of electric or plug-in hybrid electric vehicles, until 31st December 2024, by 6.1%. It increases the prescribed charges for parking units in respect of other vehicles, and electric or plug-in hybrid electric vehicles from 1st January 2025, by 7.2%. It also increases the prescribed charges for season tickets by 7.2%. The charges for parking units and season tickets were last increased on 1st March 2023.

Article 3 introduces a new pay period for Charles Street car park between 8 a.m. and 10 p.m. on any day. This Order comes into force on 1st May 2024.

The Order was made on 25th April 2024 and comes into force on 1st May 2024.
